Changing Seasons Home Care was established in December 2014 with the mission of keeping people in their own homes and out of long-term care facilities or nursing homes. There is something special and comforting being able to spend your last days, months, or years in a familiar safe environment, and we recognize the importance of this.
A Different Approach to Home Health Care
We have a different approach to home care than most agencies in the area in that we provide personalized care. Being a locally owned and operated agency, we always go the extra mile, getting clients set up with services much quicker than most agencies. Changing Seasons Home Care does not believe in contracts for care. You only pay for the services you receive and you are free to cancel services at any time without a penalty. We cater our services to personal needs.
Our clients are people with specific needs and we take the time to recognize individual personality traits and try to match caregivers to those. We recognize our clients and their families want to be able to talk to a person every time they call and not have to leave a message on a generic voicemail, wondering if their call will ever be returned. Changing Seasons Home Care takes pride in taking a personal touch to provide the most comprehensive care available.
Care with a Personal Touch
- We don’t just send anyone to take care of your loved one. We take the time to find someone that is compatible and respectful of the fact they are a guest in your home. They do not come in expecting to take control of your loved one, but rather, we develop a plan of care for the aides to follow that allows our clients as much independence as possible. We are there to help where help is needed, but we certainly recognize that clients and families make the decisions.
We Get to Know You
- Changing Seasons Home Care limits the number of caregivers working with each person. People don’t want strangers showing up on their doorstep to care for them. We generally have one or two caregivers per person so you can develop a relationship with your caregiver and you will know the person providing care. With these personal touches, you will find we are not your average home care agency.

Owner
Stacey Ball, MSN, RN, President and Owner of Changing Seasons Home Care, was born and raised in Connecticut before moving to the Central New York area where she has been a resident since 1994. Stacey completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Syracuse University in 1998. She went on to complete a Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2004 at Syracuse University as well. Stacey worked with several homecare agencies in the Central New York area before deciding to pursue her dream of starting a home care agency. Changing Seasons Home Care was created to keep people in their own homes for as long as they choose. It is a small, local agency that focuses on providing personalized home care to those in need.
